Pack 131 goes out every month for a pack hike. As the Scouts hike, their mileage is tracked and they earn patches. Once they hit 25 miles they earn their walking staff, which will be with them for their entire Cub Scout (and Scouting America) career. As they earn more miles their staffs will get more feathers, bear claws and more. By the end of Cub Scouts a Scout's staff will be a sight to behold!
